Platinum Award Winner's 2026
Our school has been awarded the Curious Minds Platinum Award for 2026 for STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) making us the only school in County Mayo to receive this prestigious recognition this year. Even more remarkably, this is the second consecutive year that our school has achieved Platinum status.
With just seven pupils on roll, this achievement is a testament to the hard work, enthusiasm and determination of our children, as well as the commitment of our staff and families. The pupils are incredibly proud of what they have accomplished and are looking forward to celebrating their success before the end of the school year. This wonderful achievement and the positive story emerging from our small rural school. It is a reminder that great things can happen in even the smallest of schools.
