The 6th Class children (Nessa Hough, Maisy McDowall, John Lynch and Alina Hordova) and Staff in Scoil Naomh Bhríde, would like to express their most heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the community of Ballycroy for coming to the school on Friday 4th April, to support their Cake Sale and for their very generous donations. There was a great turnout, young and old from every corner of the Parish. The event was in support of the Children's Health Foundation of Ireland in aid of sick children in Crumlin and Templestreet Hospitals. The Cake Sale was entirely the children's idea- as they are making their Confirmation on Sunday, they wanted to show that the Holy Spirit is moving and working in our community through both them as children and the Ballycroy Community as a whole. The children raised 510 euro - a substantial amount of money for a very worthwhile cause. The 6th Class children and Staff would like to thank all the children, parents and staff of the school for baking such wonderful cakes and tasty treats... It was a really enjoyable Cake Sale experience ..and a real sense of "Community Spirit" could be felt throughout the event. Well done 6th Class and everyone is very proud of your achievement!

Out and About October 2020
Here at Scoil Naomh Bhríde we have always been keen on outdoor learning from flower planting, tree planting, exploring and learning about animals and habitats in our Ballycroy National Park .After our safe return to school at the end of August we were delighted to get out and about and explore the beauty of our local environment while integrating our walk with our class designed mathstrail and our Discovery Primary Science and maths project.
